Shangri La VIP casino network shared the results of its work for 2017. The managing company of Michael Boettcher, Storm International, noted a number of significant achievements that show that the changes introduced led to improvements.

The highest attendance results showed units in Tbilisi and Yerevan. In 2017, the Georgian casino was visited by 20% more guests than in 2016. The Armenian casino showed an even more significant increase in attendance. Growth for the year was 48%.

Darren Keane, Shangri La Chief Executive Officer, noted that so much significant improvement in performance has at least two reasons. Firstly, the increase in aviation passenger traffic to Georgia and Armenia. Along with the increase in the number of flights to Tbilisi and Yerevan, the number of travelers who are interested in junket tours has increased. Georgia and Yerevan are attractive destinations for gambling tourists. Therefore, a simple and fast way to reach the exclusive casinos attracted more guests.

Secondly, Shangri La is a strong and recognizable brand. Many foreign players purposefully go to ShangriLa in Tbilisi and Yerevan, because they know about their good reputation, quality service and good times are guaranteed. Visitors are attracted by the opportunity to participate in poker tournaments, relax in the restaurants with the author’s cuisine, cooked by famous chefs at the casinos.

The management team of Storm International is very strong, and much attention is paid to the satisfaction of guests when planning the work of the casino. 2017 showed that the efforts made were highly appreciated not only by visitors, but also by experts. Also, 2017 was the year of the expansion of the Shangri La network. In Riga, Latvia, part of the European Union, was opened the fourth casino of the network, SL Casino Riga. The VIP facility is located in the very center of the Latvian capital in the 5-star Kempinski complex.
